The Intelligent Innovation and Cognition Lab (IICL-Lab) has successfully organised the 3rd User Experience of Artificial Intelligence Conference (UXAIC), bringing together researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders to address the pressing challenges of designing and improving user experiences with artificial intelligence.
The conference served as a platform to discuss the existing UX problems in AI systems, highlighting issues such as trust, transparency, explainability, ethical design, and user accessibility. With the rapid integration of AI into everyday life, the event emphasised the critical importance of ensuring that AI-driven systems are not only intelligent, but also human-centred, usable, and inclusive.
Participants engaged in keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops covering topics such as: Designing trustworthy and explainable AI interfaces, Addressing bias, fairness, and ethics in AI user experiences, Enhancing human-AI collaboration for creativity and decision-making, Improving accessibility and inclusivity in AI systems, Bridging the gap between technological innovation and human needs.
The event drew contributions from a diverse global community of researchers, designers, and technology experts, underlining IICL-Lab’s commitment to advancing research and practice in AI design and interaction.
Building on the success of its third edition, the UXAI Conference continues to establish itself as a leading international forum for addressing the human experience of artificial intelligence.
